Marienelle Mariscal
Physiotherapist
Marienelle was a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Philippines in 2005. In the same year she came to Canada and applied for Canadian Bridging program for international Physiotherapy graduates where she studied Canadian Healthcare System and Research in Canada courses. In 2009, she passed her written and practical exams and received her Canadian Physiotherapy License.
Since then, Marienelle gained wide experience in helping patients recover from musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, geriatric conditions. She also broadened her knowledge through continuing education acquiring skills in Mulligan techniques, concussion management, K taping and elderly falls prevention program. She likes to see patients recover from their injury, she is empathetic to each patient’s unique needs and very professional in dealing with patients and their families.
Marienelle also has abundant experience in handling worker’s safety insurance board (WSIB) injuries. She is very knowledgeable in the process from completing appropriate program of care documentation, communicating with assigned case managers to discuss best therapeutic interventions for the patient and finalizing the care and outcome summary to discharge the patient back to regular duties. In addition, she is also very helpful to patients suffering from motor vehicle accident injuries. She will ensure that proper documentation is submitted to auto insurance companies so that the patient can just focus on recovering. She will also ensure that each patient receives appropriate equipment to help their recovery.
Marienelle has years of experience working with elderly clients especially after falls injury leading to surgery such as hip fractures, ankle fractures, knee replacements, forearm fractures. She was able to rehabilitate them and have them return to their activities of daily living. She is also able to educate falls prevention exercises and strategies for falls prevention.
Marienelle is excited to be part of the Cormack Chiropractic Care family.

Tuesday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Wednesday: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
